Explanation of Levels
Level 1, 2 and 3 refer to the age of the student as follows:
• Level 1: ages 7-10
• Level 2: ages 10-13
• Level 3: ages 13 and older
• Starting up classes begin at age 3 for dance
Within each level students will be enrolled in a beginning, intermediate or advanced class, based on skill. When registering, please ask for assistance if your child is 10 or 13 in order to place them in the best class suited for their age and skill. Some classes are offered in combined skill levels. Teachers are trained to handle both skill levels in one class. If you have any concerns or questions after the first two weeks of class, please discuss them with the teacher. The teacher may be able to inform you of the class syllabus and/or have a recommendation for a class that is better suited.
Pre-Requisites for Class Placements
Advanced and Company classes require a specific number of years experience as follows:
• Ballet/Pointe: 2 to 4 years of Ballet
• Hip Hop: 2 years of Hip Hop
• Jazz: 1 to 2 years of Jazz and/or Ballet
• Lyrical: 2 years of Jazz and/or Ballet
Teacher approval is required to register for an Advanced or Company class. Approval may be given by auditioning at registration or prior placement by the teacher. Each teacher will continue evaluation during the first two weeks of class and class placement may be subject to change. Company classes are required to register for the Advanced Class in the same technique as the Company.
Late Registrations and Costume Fees
• Registrations after the first week of class are welcome.
∼ New registrations for dance will be accepted until the end of the 8th week.
∼ Registrations for dance classes received beginning Week 9 and thereafter will be accepted at teacher’s discretion.
If accepted, the student may not be able to participate in the recital.
• Some dance students will be performing in TWO performances. Therefore, these students will be charged for two costumes. As
noted in the payment Information section, the November invoice is a costume deposit only, with the balance of each costume
fee due in January.

*Future Stars is an introduction to ballet, tap, and rhythm. The instructor will choose one of these techniques to perform during recital.

Payment/Price: The price for the class is the amount for the entire year; however, tuition may be paid in three equal installments.

Finale
All dance students are required to participate in the finale at the recital, which will be taught during normal class time.
