Mt. Zion's dance companies have performed in a variety of venues including Comerica Park, Cobo Center, Fox Theatre, Woodward Dream Cruise, as well as participating in character development programs at local schools. Specifically, the Hip Hop Company is the official dance troop for The Ambassador Magazine and has received exemplary recognition for not only their performances, but also their character and conduct at statewide competitions and events. Several of Mt. Zion's dance students have received scholarships to renowned dance studios throughout the country.
