Ballet
Ballet Company and Advanced Classes Levels 1, 2 and 3
Girls: Leotards (solid colors) and Pink Tights, Advanced level 3 may wear pink or black tights. Dancers are to have pink ballet slippers, with elastic straps sewn across the top. Hair must be pulled back in a low bun, and all hair including bangs must be off the face. Warm ups may be worn (such as sweat pants, warm up jackets, and leg warmers) during cold weather for the first ten minutes of class. The teacher reserves the right to ask that any article of improper dancewear be removed. No jewelry is to be worn during ballet class; a small pair of stud earrings is allowed.

Boys: Black tights or Black dance pants, a dance belt, and a white T-shirt. Boys are to have black ballet slippers with elastic straps sewn across the top. Hip Hop Classes
All Company’s See Company Packet

Levels 1-3, Starting-up, Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced Classes
Class: TOPS - T-shirts, sweatshirts or hoodies please. If you choose to wear low cut tank tops or v-neck shirts, students MUST wear a leotard under their clothing. PANTS - Sweat pants or cut-offs are preferred. Shorts don’t work well with break dancing or floor work. NO jeans or pajamas in class. HAIR - Hear needs to be secured back in pony tail or pig tails. Students can wear bandanas or hats as long as they are secured on and will not be a distraction in class. SHOES – Any sneaker is acceptable for class. Student must BRING their “dance” sneakers to class, NOT wear them to class. Please change into your “dance” sneaker once you arrive at the studio.

Recital: Students will need to have ALL WHITE Tennis Shoes for recital, and white no-show socks (unless otherwise specified).

Jazz and Lyrical
Beginning, Intermediate, & Advanced Jazz Level 1
Class: Form fitted, comfortable clothing so teacher can see body movements. Any color tights and leotard needs to be worn underneath clothing. Any jazz shoe allowed for class. Hair must be pulled back & completely off of the face.

Recital: Needs to have black, split-sole, slip-on jazz shoes with full outer elastic arch.

Beginning, Intermediate, & Advanced Jazz Level 2
Class: Form fitted, comfortable clothing so teacher can see body movements. Any color tights and leotard needs to be worn underneath clothing. Any jazz shoe allowed for class. Hair must be pulled back & completely off of the face.

Recital: Needs to have black, split-sole, slip-on jazz shoes with full outer elastic arch.

Beginning and Intermediate Jazz Level 3
Class: Form fitted, comfortable clothing so teacher can see body movements. Any color tights and leotard needs to be worn underneath clothing. Any jazz shoe allowed for class. Hair must be pulled back & completely off of the face.

Advanced Jazz Level 3
Class: Form fitted, comfortable clothing so teacher can see body movements. Any color tights and leotard needs to be worn underneath clothing. Dance paws, bare feet, or jazz shoes acceptable for class. Hair must be pulled back & completely off of the face.

Recital: Needs to have black, split-sole, slip-on jazz shoes with full outer elastic arch.

Advanced Lyrical Level 3
Class: Leotard and tights of any color. Dance paws, bare feet, or jazz shoes acceptable for class.

Recital: Needs to have caramel color, split-sole, slip-on jazz shoes with full outer elastic arch.

Starting Up Classes
Ballet
Pink or Black short-sleeved (or sleeveless) leotards with pink ballet tights. (No long-sleeve leotards). No loose skirts over the leotards as they become a distraction! The first week of every month will be the outfit of their choice (whatever color they want to wear). Hair up in bun or pony tail completely off their face. They will need pink ballet shoes. (Payless Shoe Store) No jewelry.

Future Stars
Pink or Black short-sleeved (or sleeveless) leotards with pink or black tights. (No long-sleeve leotards). No loose skirts over the leotard as they are a distraction! First week of every month will be the outfit of their choice (whatever color leotard they want to wear). Boys can wear shorts and t-shirt. Girls hair needs to be up either in a bun or pony tail. They will need pink ballet shoes and black tap shoes (Payless Shoe Store). (Please get the button closures for the tap shoes). No jewelry.

Tap
Pink or Black short-sleeved (or sleeveless) leotards with pink or black tights. (No long-sleeve leotards). No loose skirts over the leotard as they are a distraction! First week of every month will be the outfit of their choice (whatever color leotard they want to wear). Boys can wear shorts and t-shirt. Girls hair needs to be up either in a bun or pony tail. They will black tap shoes (Payless Shoe Store). (Please get the button closures for the tap shoes). No jewelry.

Tap Classes
Level 1 and above
Leotards, tights, dance tanks or t-shirts, dance pants or shorts. (No jeans or pajamas) Tap shoes: Black Bloch, or Capezio jazz tap oxfords (no patent leather Mary Janes). Hair firmly secured in pony tail or bun. No loose bangs, dangle earrings or big jewelry.
