The Independent Film Production is a collaborative venture between Mt. Zion, Grindley Studios, LLC and Shempstone Pictures offering over 30 hours of training in film acting concluding with the production of a short, professional film titled The Audition. Shempstone Productions and Grindely Studios, LLC, an experienced fim crew with professional actors, will instruct students in script breakdown, character development, film acting coaching, and provide in front of camera critique. Each student will receive a custom edit of the film, highlighting his or her performance.

Food is not permitted during the sessions. However, all students are encouraged to bring bottled water. No glass and no gum, please. During the Filming Days, students will be given a break for lunch. Students will need to bring their own boxed lunch on these days.

Mt. Zion's Theatre Camp is a one week event where students will engage in improving their acting as well as their voice and dance skills. Tuition includes a variety of acting techniques, choreography and voice instruction, a certificate of completion, materials/handouts, a T-shirt, and a showcase for friends and family to enjoy.

There will be a lunch break so please bring a packed lunch. All students are encouraged to bring bottled water as well. No glass and no gum, please.

Theatre: A Fairytale Adventure of Princes and Princesses Thursday, August 9, 2012 and Friday, August 10, 2012 (No prior experience necessary)

Once upon a time, the fairytale adventure workshop was the best in the land! Campers will meet several princesses and other fairytale characters, have a tea party, and present a showcase for friends and family to enjoy. Boys will be knighted and girls will be crowned princesses. Snacks and crafts will be provided.
